We got the chance to sit down with Leyla Koray, the founder of Leiija, which is a jewelry line that combines the healing energy of crystals with a chic rugged style. What do the pieces in the collection represent, What character does each piece represent? Every item in my collection is unisex. I researched each crystal and paired it carefully. I can say my pieces are neither feminine nor masculine. I think the fashion industry is unfair to men about jewelry and accessories, luckily now we come across men with bags and earrings more often as well as seeing more and more masculinity in womenswear as well. What is your favorite piece from your collection? The very illustrious ear cuff. Not only unique but could be worn day or night, It has six crystals on it, it’s a very eye-catching piece. Do you work custom orders? All of the pendants in the collection are made of natural stones, so each piece has different look. Every piece is handmade so our whole collection is personalized for our client.
